This very nice elderly lady in South Gate didn't really need grab bars to stand inside her shower but had really sore knees and needed grab bars to assist her in sitting down and sitting up from the toilet. On one side of the toilet, it was easy to install the grab bar into the tile, using our super strong toggles.
On the other side of the toilet, we had to get a little creative because there was no wall there, which is where we generally install our grab bars in Los Angeles. So we use special self-drilling metal screws and carefully secured the safety bar onto the shower stall aluminum frame. Looks great! and feels VERY solid!
