Interestingly enough, older tiles are generally much harder to drill into than newer tiles. I guess the older qualities are better than the newer ones. So it took twice the amount of time a a couple of worn out drill bits to install these grab bars in the Santa Monica home. But it finally got done and it looked very. The owner, this very nice lady was getting ready to have hip replacement surgery and she needed a couple safety bars installed in her downstairs shower for before the surgery and then she needed another grab bar installed in her upstairs shower. She was very happy with result!
