I've seen it happen many times, The lovely parents and owners of this beautiful Santa Monica house asked their elderly mother who just had surgery to move-in with them. Luckily their Santa Monica house is not only beautiful but is also very large and they were able to accommodate their mother with her own bedroom and her own bathroom. Although the house looked like it been recently built, the shower-stall did not have any grab bar. So we came over, we picked the location and the height of the grab bars testing everything with the mother to make sure they were going to be placed in their best ergonomic position, as we always do.
